Joesph Unanue, former president of Hispanic foods empire Goya Foods, based in New Jersey, has died at age 88.  While a formidable story for business and the American Dream, friends will remember Unanue for his philanthropy and community service.  His nephew and successor at Goya, Bob Unanue, said that his uncle always stressed the importance of family, which shaped the culture at Goya and helped make it a better company.  Joseph Unanue founded the Latin American Studies program at Seton Hall University, and gave generously to Museo del Barrio in New York City, a museum dedicated to Latino community arts.
